Phillips is set to showcase a ring with a 3.24-carat, fancy-vivid-blue diamond at its upcoming Geneva sale, valuing the piece at up to $6 million.
The Geneva Jewels Auction: THREE, which opens at the Hotel President on November 11, follows two other recent Phillips sales in the Swiss city, the latest one being in May.
The November sale will also include pieces from famed jewelers such as Cartier, Bulgari, Van Cleef & Arpels, and Buccellati, Phillips said last week.
This auction comes “on the heels of Phillips’s successful jewels sale in Hong Kong [earlier in October], which achieved an outstanding 89% year-on-year increase,” said Benoît Repellin, the house’s worldwide head of jewelry. “The [Geneva] sale includes captivating unheated natural sapphires and rubies, as well as emeralds with no clarity enhancements. We are delighted to showcase a remarkable red diamond and outstanding emeralds following our record-breaking results and price-per-carat achievements for these stones.”
