Jewelmer, a renowned Filipino jewellery brand, revealed the ‘Lumière de l’Infini’ Crown (Light of Infinity Crown) ahead of the highly anticipated event this weekend.
Unveiled after a five-year journey of meticulous craftsmanship, the crown represents the “pinnacle of savoir-faire,” according to Jewelmer. The creation process involved 377 intricate steps, highlighting the artistry and dedication of countless individuals, including pearl farmers and craftsmen. The brand shared these details on its Instagram account, where it described the crown as a “one-of-a-kind creation.”
A Historic Milestone
This marks a significant milestone for the Philippines, as it is the first time a Filipino-crafted crown will be used in the Miss Universe pageant. Jewelmer emphasized the collaborative effort behind the crown, underscoring its importance to Filipino artistry and craftsmanship.
The ‘Lumière de l’Infini’ Crown replaces the ‘Force for Good’ crown, introduced in 2022 by Mouawad, a global luxury brand known for its 110 carats of blue sapphires and 48 carats of white diamonds.
The Philippines and Miss Universe
The Philippines has a longstanding connection with the Miss Universe pageant. In previous editions, Filipino shoe brand Jojo Bragais served as the official footwear provider for candidates. Prominent Filipinas, such as actress Marian Rivera and entrepreneur Olivia Quido, have also contributed as members of the selection committee.
This year, Chelsea Manalo represents the Philippines, having recently completed her closed-door interviews as part of the competition. Her journey reflects the country’s deep ties to the pageant and its commitment to showcasing Filipino excellence on a global stage.
As the pageant night approaches, the ‘Lumière de l’Infini’ Crown symbolizes not only beauty and elegance but also the Philippines’ rich heritage and dedication to craftsmanship.
