Dates: January 29th – 31st, 2025
Venue: The Ned Doha, Qatar
Expected Visitors: Over 200 from 30 countries
A Unique Approach to Industry Challenges
Unlike other global industry events, DIDGC aims to address structural changes in the supply chain and shifting consumer preferences. The conference will encourage attendees to rethink traditional models and explore innovative strategies to drive growth and profitability in the diamond and coloured gemstone sectors.
Why Qatar?
Qatar’s strategic location and strong consumer market make it an ideal host for the DIDGC. The country is committed to strengthening its role in the international diamond trade following its acceptance into the Kimberley Process in 2021. As part of this initiative, Qatar has been actively developing services to support high-end jewellery manufacturers and retailers.
DIDGC will run alongside the 21st edition of the Doha Jewellery and Watches Exhibition, a flagship event organized by Qatar Tourism and the Qatar Business Events Corporation. Delegates will also have the opportunity to engage with local stakeholders, explore Qatar’s world-class museums, and experience its rich cultural heritage.

The conference will feature a lineup of industry leaders, including:
-
Bogolo Joy Kenewondo – Minister of Minerals and Energy
-
Ahmed Bin Sulayem – Executive Chairman & CEO, Dubai Multi Commodities Centre (DMCC)
